In the Class Eight two year olds colts, the Saudis had the upper hand with Moutaz Al Biwaibiya spearheading the pack with 92,7 points. The son of Aia Sangali and Premirra is bred and owned by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Master Design for the Wales-based Mr. Rhodri Jones was more than two points back in second place, and behind these came Bs Paparrazzi for the Saudi owner Shaikh Abdul Mohsen Al Shaikh, Moataz Hedayah, Moataz Hedayah for Marbat Al Assayel Al Arabia and JJ Carismatico for Ajman Stud.

The fifth competition of the afternoon, class nine for the three year olds colts sided the UAE contender SC Dagash who collected 92,7 points to give his owner Shaikh Mohammed bin Saoud Al Qassimi a clear advantage over the Swedish performer Girlan-Bey for the Family Kristoffersen . Insha Allah for the Saudi Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz finished third with 90 points, Al Zeer Al Rayyan for Al Rayyan Farm from Qatar was fourth and Ghajariy from Ajman Stud was fifth.           

Again, the Saudis made their presence felt in the Class 10 Stallions (4-6 year olds) with F. Shamaal for Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz emerging joint winner with the UAE representative Karat from Ajman Stud.

The son of Maysoun did very well in the eyes of the judges as far as the type, head and neck, body and topline are concerned before he was caught by Karat after claiming full marks in the movements.

Khallab, owned by the Royal Cavalry from Oman walked away with the third place honours and then finished Lahek W’Rsan for Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sinan Al Nasser for Saudi Arabia.

In the class 15 endurance females & males, witnessed clear sweep of the first five places by the UAE contenders. Kie-Al Strawbrey for Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry scored 85,7 points to win from Aly Baba for Ziad Galadari, then followed by Vert d’Eau, Zaphir and Malibu from the stables of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
