Observing the awesome form that Big Easy as well as the great difference in class when compared to his rivals today, it looks like the Mazin Al Kurdi-trained horse is all set for a winning streak in the Group 3 Al Ruwais sprint over 1000 metres. Big Easy has a good team with champion jockey Ted Durcan on board. Big Easy has won the Al Ruwais event twice here and looks all set to complete his hat-trick in the Dh 150,000 event. While the favourite is rated 113, the next runner with the second best rating is Red Zone on 65. The Mohammad Al Darmaki-trained seven-year-old is getting back to the tracks after a long absence and could need the run while the other challenger is the Jaber Bittar-trained Basilic De Ghazal (Seamus O'Gormon up).
The Mazin-Durcan combination has another good runner in Seniorita in the second race. The Tidjani mare, with a win and two second places in her three starts, takes on newcomer to the UAE, Moza, a winner of four races in Holland.
The duo appeal most in this race over a mile though Gillian Duffield with Kinana has a runner with a high reputation and rating.
Sharrour (David Hayse up) and Billamunazee (William Hollick) are the two strong contenders in the third race, a maiden for UAE-bred horses.
