Three cheers to Nashmi   Print  E-mail 
Nashmi, the horse that won that won General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence's the Silver medal received  much praise at the awards presentation last night.

"This horse is the best in the world," Shaikh Mohammad said after accepting the award for having the best conditioned horse at the FEI World Endurance Championship at the Lisaili Fort last night.

As he rode in to a thunderous applause onboard Nashmi, Shaikh Mohammad kept on pointing towards the horse indicating that the cheers should go to the seven-year-old Bay Gelding.

"I must tell you about this horse of mine," Shaikh Mohammad said after accepting his award."This horse is seven years old and he is home bred," Shaikh Mohammad said.

"This horse was not bred out of this country. I loved riding him every moment during the ride," Shaikh Mohammad said.

Shaikh Mohammad also stated that he enjoyed every bit of the competition he got during this ride. "There were some of the best horses in the world for the ride."
