The Carnival begins on January 29, 2004 and culminates on March 27, 2004 with the $6 million Dubai World Cup, part of the richest day in international horse racing.
A delegation led by Martin Talty, manager of the DRC's International Department is currently in England where they will be meeting with trainers and discussing the benefits on offer to them by stabling and racing their horses in Dubai.
The delegation will also be travelling to Ireland, France and Germany.
Ali Saeed Bilhab, Chairman of the Dubai Racing Club said: "We are looking forward to welcoming all of the international trainers and owners to Dubai. "The International Stables are built to the highest standards. After many years of building stables in the UAE, the Dubai Racing Club has developed the ideal stabling, with the horses' safety being of paramount importance."
Horses stabled in Dubai thrive on the warm winter climate. With the Dubai Feed Mill, trainers are able to develop a unique feed program for their horses, made up of the highest quality feedstuff imported from around the world.
Trainers and owners who wish to send their horses to Dubai will be offered a generous incentive package, including free transportation for their horses to and from Dubai.
Also on offer is the stabling at no cost and a starter's rebate, where $2,000 will be paid to horses that finish from fifth through to tenth place in each Carnival race, excluding; Maidens, the three Conditions events and each of the races on Dubai World Cup night.
Another exciting benefit for the overseas-based trainers is the $50,000 prize, which will be awarded to the trainer with the highest number of wins to his or her name over the nine-week Dubai International Racing Carnival.
