General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence, UAE, snatched victory yesterday from 80 horsemen of different nationalities, when he took the first place in the 180-km distance Kuwait International Endurance Horse Race. In the second place was the UAE national Sultan bin Sulayim.

Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum clinched the third place in the prestigious ride that attracted the world's best set of riders.

Earlier in September, Sheikh Mohammed had led a clean sweep for the UAE to extend its domination at the European Open in Ireland.
